The Work
The Development Manager, DevOps will design, scale, and optimize cloud-native infrastructure supporting Sovos's global tax-compliance platform.
The role combines technical leadership, infrastructure architecture, automation, strategic communication, and management of a small engineering team.
Collaboration and Leadership
- Manage and mentor engineers and contribute to team development and knowledge sharing.
- Partner with Product Development to align DevOps practices with business objectives.
- Present technical strategies and updates to leadership.
- Delegate work and coach the team on operational procedures, workflows, and documentation.
Infrastructure and Automation
- Design and implement scalable data center and cloud infrastructure using Terraform.
