The Manager of Development will play a critical role in advancing the mission of the Foundation by managing fundraising initiatives, cultivating donor relationships, and executing development strategies. The successful candidate will secure philanthropic support from corporations, foundations, and individuals to fund qualified initiatives and services that align with the Foundation’s mission as well as key programs, including Hiring Our Heroes, the Civic Trust (including the National Civics Bee) and Workforce (including AI and the Future of Work). The candidate will collaborate with Foundation leadership, development team members, program leaders, and other stakeholders to ensure the success of revenue-generating activities and donor engagement.
This position requires a strategic thinker with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, as well as strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

The salary range for this position is $83,498.00 to $90,000.00.
The actual salary paid for this position will vary based on market data, an applicant’s qualifications, relevant degrees, certifications, and other factors.
Our full-time employees are eligible for benefits, including health care, vision, dental, retirement, and paid leave.
In addition, because the Foundation is a 501c3, employees of the Foundation are eligible for student loan forgiveness.
