The Patient Data Aggregator securely collects, standardizes, and aggregates sensitive patient data for clinical, operational, and research needs.
The role requires knowledge of de-identification methods and work within a HISEC-compliant high-security environment.
The role supports client success through expertise in U.S. pharmaceutical datasets.
Responsibilities
- Collect and aggregate patient data from electronic health records, laboratory systems, and external databases.
- Apply tokenization and support expert determination de-identification processes.
- Maintain secure pipelines and repositories and produce anonymized datasets.
- Monitor data quality, document provenance and transformations, and support audits and governance reviews.
- Develop secure data aggregation procedures and end-to-end solutions using Python and PySpark.
- Lead project implementation, client communication, meetings, agendas, recommendations, and multiple project timelines.
Requirements
- Engineering or master's degree in computer science or a relevant concentration with strong academic performance.
- At least 6 years of relevant consulting-industry experience.
- Strong knowledge of data management, data modeling, analytics, U.S. pharmaceutical datasets, Python, PySpark, and privacy regulations.
- Experience with tokenization and expert determination de-identification.
- Ability to communicate clearly, stay organized, manage time, and work in an international matrix environment.
Tools and Frameworks
- Microsoft Office, Snowflake, Redshift, Airflow, and Databricks Workflows.
- HIPAA, GDPR, HISEC, and related data privacy and security frameworks.
Client Support Schedule
- Support U.S. clients during U.S. working hours with 3 to 4 hours of overlap.
