Manager - Customer Data Stewardship

"The Manager - Customer Data Stewardship is responsible for leading Eaton's global Customer Data Stewardship organization within the Data Enablement Center of Excellence (CoE) at Sales & Marketing Center (SMC). The role leads a team of approximately 16 customer data professionals responsible for ensuring high-quality, governed, and business-ready customer and contact master data across Reltio, Salesforce, SAP S/4, and other enterprise systems. Eaton's Customer MDM program is centered on Reltio as the enterprise customer master platform, with ongoing business onboarding and adoption efforts across the organization.

Operating within a federated data management model, this role partners closely with Business Data Owners, Enterprise Data Governance, MDM platform teams, Process Excellence, IT, and business stakeholders to drive customer data quality, business adoption, operational excellence, and stewardship maturity. The role is accountable for transforming customer data into a trusted enterprise asset by establishing robust stewardship practices, enabling scalable operating models, fostering continuous improvement, and evolving the organization toward AI-augmented stewardship and intelligent automation capabilities"

"Lead, develop, and coach a global team of Customer Data Stewards, fostering a culture of accountability, quality, customer focus, and continuous improvement. Own end-to-end customer master data stewardship operations across Reltio, Salesforce, SAP S/4, and other enterprise systems supporting Eaton businesses. Ensure customer master data is accurate, complete, consistent, compliant, and fit for business use through robust stewardship practices and controls. Establish and manage stewardship operating models including SLAs, KPIs, decision rights, escalation processes, workload management, and resource planning. Drive measurable improvements in customer data quality, including completeness, accuracy, consistency, hierarchy integrity, duplication prevention, and lifecycle management. Partner with Business Data Owners, Enterprise Data Governance, Process Excellence, and IT teams to implement data standards, policies, and governance requirements. Drive business adoption, onboarding, and value realization of Eaton's Customer MDM platform (Reltio), including support for future business deployments and expansions. Lead stewardship support for customer master data across both MDM and source systems, ensuring timely resolution of data issues and root-cause elimination. Develop and maintain stewardship performance dashboards, service metrics, and governance reporting to measure operational effectiveness and business impact. Identify and implement opportunities for process simplification, intelligent automation, and productivity improvements across stewardship operations. Foster the adoption of AI-assisted stewardship capabilities, enabling more efficient data validation, standardization, enrichment, and exception management while maintaining appropriate business oversight. Act as a trusted advisor to business stakeholders on customer data management, data quality improvement, and stewardship best practices."
