Manager – Costing & Margin Analytics

Key Responsibilities

• Own BOM-level costing and margin analysis by product, SKU, and platform.
• Analyze material cost drivers and partner with Engineering on value engineering savings.
• Support Supply Chain with should-cost models, localization, and vendor cost evaluations.
• Analyze non-BOM costs and identify quantified margin leakages.
• Prepare margin bridges, price-cost-mix analysis, bid reviews, and margin commitments.
• Provide weekly and monthly product margin summaries and insights to management.
• Ensure accurate BOMs, routings, and overhead rates in the ERP system.
• Own inventory valuation for raw materials, work in progress, and finished goods.
• Analyze slow-moving and obsolete inventory and support costing and inventory audits.
• Partner with Manufacturing, Engineering, and Supply Chain on cost and margin improvement.
• Lead, coach, and develop costing team members.

Candidate Profile

• 12 or more years of post-qualification experience in a core costing role within manufacturing.
• Strong expertise in BOM analysis, inventory accounting, and variance analysis.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle and advanced Excel.
• Good presentation and communication skills.
• Plant exposure.
• CA or CMA qualification.
• Engineering-focused manufacturing experience is preferred.
