- The following position is to join our Corporate Strategy & Development team (CS&D):
- The Corporate Strategy & Development group is responsible for driving the company’s long-term growth and value creation by shaping strategic priorities, evaluating new market opportunities and executing mergers, acquisitions, divestitures and other strategic transactions. CS&D reports directly to RTX’s President & CEO and the team serves as advisors to company leadership on the highest value issues and opportunities facing the company.
- The Manager position will be responsible for supporting a wide range of strategy and M&A projects. This individual will partner closely with senior leaders to evaluate growth opportunities, drive portfolio strategy, and support M&A transactions. The candidate must be a methodical, structured thinker and must have the ability to take initiative and ownership of assigned projects/tasks and independently drive for results.
What You Will Do
- Support the development and execution of RTX’s enterprise and business unit strategies aligned with long-term growth objectives
- Conduct defense and commercial aerospace market, customer, and competitor analyses to assess industry trends, threats, or emerging opportunities
- Assess customer needs, defense budget priorities, acquisition trends, and geopolitical developments to inform strategies
- Support annual strategic planning processes, portfolio reviews, and long-range business unit planning
