About the Role
Henry's is seeking a Manager, Community and Events to build and execute activations and community programs that drive brand engagement and revenue. The role requires 5+ years of experience in activations, experiential marketing, or community development, with a focus on multi-store retail environments.

Responsibilities
- Define and own the Henry’s activations strategy across store and brand level
- Build a year round activations calendar aligned to customer segments
- Build and run a tiered activations model with three streams: in store, premium ticketed, and larger brand/digital activations
- Continuously build, refresh, and update the workshop, seminar, and photo walk library
- Set participation standard for stores and hold them accountable to activation KPIs
- Support stores with tools, training, templates, and activation kits
- Build local outreach structure to build relationships with camera clubs, schools, and creative groups
- Identify, recruit, and manage a portfolio of local creators, educators, and ambassadors
- Build and drive activations revenue stream across premium ticketed activations, paid seminars, and vendor co investment
- Own activation execution end to end including venue, format, sign up flow, and reporting
Requirements
- Post secondary education in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field (preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive experience across activations and experiential marketing, community or partnership development, or retail marketing
- Proven track record building and scaling activations programs that drive both brand engagement and revenue
- Direct experience owning a budget and a revenue or contribution target
- Experience developing community, partnership, ambassador, or creator programs
- Vendor and partner management experience, including securing co op and investment partnerships
- Strong project management and commercial fluency
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Eventbrite, Klaviyo

Overview of the Role
- The Manager, Community and Events is a critical role in delivering Henry’s strategic direction and driving future growth.
- Responsible for building activations and community program that brings brand pillars to life.
- Owns Henry’s activations program across store and brand level, paid seminar and revenue streams, local creator and ambassador portfolio, and structure driving stores to build relationships with community groups.
Key Responsibilities
- Activations Strategy & Architecture: Define and own activations strategy; build year round calendar; build tiered activations model.
- Store Enablement & Participation: Set participation standard; hold stores accountable; support with tools and training.
- Community Development & Local Reach: Build local outreach structure; re establish Henry’s as destination for local creators.
- Creator Portfolio & Ambassadors: Identify, recruit, and manage portfolio of local creators and ambassadors.
- Revenue, Commercial & Vendor Co Op: Build and drive activations revenue stream; build commercial mechanics; establish vendor co op funded programming.
- Budget Management: Own and manage activations and community budget.
- Execution, Content & Measurement: Own activation execution end to end; define KPIs; capture content and post activation surveys.
- Cross Functional Partnership: Work closely with Marketing, E Commerce, Merchandising, and Operations.
Required Knowledge and Experience
- Post secondary education in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field (preferred).
- 5+ years of progressive experience across activations and experiential marketing, community or partnership development, or retail marketing.
- Proven track record building and scaling activations programs.
- Direct experience owning a budget and revenue or contribution target.
- Experience developing community, partnership, ambassador, or creator programs.
- Experience building paid online education, seminars, or webinars is a strong asset.
- Vendor and partner management experience.
- Strong project management and commercial fluency.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Eventbrite, Klaviyo.
- Photography, Content Creation, or Creative Category Knowledge – a strong asset.

Compensation
- Pay: $65,000.00 $75,000.00 per year.
