We are seeking a Manager, Business Development -Data Center Solutions to support our growth!
The Manager, Business Development – Data Center Solutions is responsible for driving net-new revenue growth by developing strategic relationships within the data center ecosystem, including operators, colocation providers, hyperscalers, outsourcing, cloud providers, and enterprise clients. This role is focused on identifying, pursuing, and securing opportunities related to the movement, decommissioning, deployment, and lifecycle management of enterprise IT equipment within and between data center environments.
The position emphasizes outbound business development, industry engagement, and solution-based selling, working cross-functionally with Operations, Logistics, and Finance to deliver scalable, compliant, and profitable solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, target, and develop relationships with key stakeholders within the data center vertical, including operators, asset managers, IT infrastructure leads, and procurement teams
- Leverage existing relationships within the data center ecosystem to drive net-new business and augment this through outbound prospecting, networking, and industry engagement (e.g., conferences, associations, referrals)
- Develop and execute strategic account plans focused on data center clients, including colocation providers, hyperscalers, outsourcing, cloud providers and large enterprises
- Position Quantum’s full suite of services (ITAD, logistics, redeployment, remarketing, recycling) as solutions aligned to data center operational needs
- Lead opportunity qualification, solution design, pricing strategy, and contract negotiation for new clients
- Collaborate with internal teams (Operations, Logistics, Compliance) to ensure feasibility, scalability, and profitability of proposed solutions
