Role Overview
Reporting to the Director of Operations, the Manager, Building Operations is the primary site contact for facilities operations.
The role oversees buildings, laboratories, greenhouse head houses, offices, equipment, life-safety systems, regulatory compliance, security, and emergency response.
The position leads the Building Operations team and serves as Vineland’s Safety Officer.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and execute facility-related projects, repairs, maintenance, and improvements with employees, contractors, and tenants.
- Lead operations for HVAC, electrical, plumbing, irrigation, mechanical, and security systems.
- Ensure building systems operate safely, efficiently, reliably, and in support of research and tenant needs.
- Support the Health, Safety and Environmental governance framework.
