Role overview
Lead AWS billing operations that deliver accurate, timely billing artifacts to customers and partners across regions, partitions, and billing models.
Manage billing analysts, drive operational excellence, and build a high-performing team that scales with the business.
Partner with Engineering, Product, Finance, Customer Service, and AWS service teams on billing, pricing, and platform integration.
Key responsibilities
- Establish reliable workflows and SLAs, using data-driven, auditable, and measurable decisions.
- Own capacity planning, cross-training, and team resilience.
- Manage stakeholder and customer escalations before they affect customers.
- Identify bottlenecks, simplify processes, and build scalable operating mechanisms.
- Define metrics, set goals, and create long-term strategy from customer problems.
- Lead product and process strategy with service, pricing, and engineering teams.
- Identify risks and opportunities, negotiate priorities, and make trade-offs across time horizons.
- Communicate clearly with senior leadership and cross-functional partners.
- Lead and develop billing analysts, coach employees, and foster an inclusive culture.
