Role Overview
KPMG is expanding its Valuation Services practice and seeking professionals at Manager or Associate Director level for its Sydney team.
The team delivers independent valuations supporting transactions, acquisitions, joint ventures, shareholder resolutions, investments, and tax, regulatory, and financial reporting requirements.
Responsibilities
- Lead valuation engagements from planning through delivery and take ownership of project execution and client outcomes.
- Contribute to business development initiatives, proposals, pitch packs, and internal initiatives.
- Use data analytics, simulations, and visualisation tools to solve valuation and modelling challenges.
- Identify performance indicators and value drivers across companies, industries, and transactions.
- Prepare valuation reports covering assumptions, methodologies, findings, and commercial considerations.
- Build, review, and interpret financial models for businesses and projects.
- Engage with clients to understand business performance, cash flow forecasts, and valuation drivers.
- Apply valuation methodologies to assess assets, equity, and debt instruments.
- Coach and manage junior team members, oversee workstreams, and review outputs.
- Deliver multiple client engagements while collaborating across Deal Advisory.
