Platform and Security Engineering

• Integrate AI applications with Azure OpenAI, AI Search, Storage, Functions, Container Apps, and identity services.
• Maintain secure enterprise data handling through authentication, authorization, and secret management using Key Vault and Entra ID.
• Build reusable components, shared libraries, and standardized engineering practices for agent-based applications.

Evaluation and Collaboration

• Build evaluation harnesses and guardrails for groundedness, safety, latency, and cost.
• Improve prompts, tools, and architectures using user feedback, production data, and measured outcomes.
• Work in agile squads with Product Managers, Data Scientists, and Architects to deliver AI use cases.
• Communicate model, latency, cost, and accuracy trade-offs to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Experience and Education

• At least 2 years of experience deploying agentic AI systems.
• Hands-on production software engineering experience building LLM-based or agentic systems.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related quantitative field.
• Advanced degrees are preferred.

Technical Competencies

• Strong Python skills with idiomatic, typed, tested, asynchronous, and modern packaged code.
• Production AI agent experience with Microsoft Foundry, Azure AI Foundry, or equivalent agent frameworks.
• Experience with Azure OpenAI, AI Search, identity, storage, and serverless compute.
• Working knowledge of tool calling, structured outputs, retrieval-augmented generation, memory, and multi-agent orchestration.
• Experience with LLM evaluation frameworks and observability, including tracing, logging, and automated evaluations.
• DevOps fundamentals including Git, CI/CD, containers, and infrastructure as code.
• Exposure to data engineering and vector stores is a plus.
