Role Overview

Key Activities

• Lead and develop actuarial and business insights analysts specializing in long-tail claims data, analysis, and interpretation.
• Manage high-priority, non-routine projects related to long-tail claims and innovative dashboard development.
• Deliver regular reporting and develop analytics and deep dives on long-tail claims financial and operational results.
• Oversee end-to-end analytics and insight solutions from initial demand through reporting, analysis, and presentation.
• Build and maintain positive working relationships with business partners and executives.
• Provide people leadership through development plans and strategies to attract, motivate, and retain diverse team members.

Requirements

• A bachelor's or master's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, or a relevant discipline is required.
• At least 8 years of relevant work experience is required.
• Experience in claims operations or reserving is an asset.
