Life Sciences sector
Moorhouse's Life Sciences sector works with pharmaceutical organizations across R&D, clinical development, commercial, post-market support, digital and technology, and HR.
The sector focuses on Commercial, Medical Affairs, R&D, and Global Health functions and supports enterprise transformations and targeted change initiatives.
The Life Sciences team is growing and has long-standing partnerships with global pharmaceutical companies.
Principal responsibilities
- Define Commercial offerings and go-to-market approaches to accelerate Life Sciences sector growth.
- Win new work and grow the project and client base.
- Lead high-profile initiatives involving Commercial functions, competitive advantage, and improved patient health outcomes.
- Build Commercial capability by sharing expertise and supporting clients with critical initiatives.
- Lead and grow a multi-million-pound sector while shaping key initiatives and enabling team success.
- Continue developing Life Sciences expertise through training, proposition development, and marketing.
- Contribute to sustainability, responsible practices, and ethical standards.
What we are looking for
- At least 9 years of management consulting experience working on transformation and change projects.
- Subject matter knowledge and experience in Commercial functions within Life Sciences organizations.
- Experience with go-to-market strategy, commercial operating models, product launches, market analysis, customer engagement, or commercial operations.
- Experience leading transformation programmes or large projects and leading teams.
- Capability across programme delivery, change management, operational excellence, process improvement, operating model design, systems implementation, project management, omnichannel strategy, strategy and insights, or organization design.
- Personally attributable consulting sales exceeding £500,000, with strong commercial awareness and business development capability.
- A strong external network and ability to build relationships with clients, colleagues, and senior stakeholders at VP level and above.
- A strong track record of leading teams, building capability, coaching, and upskilling colleagues.
- Account management expertise is desirable.
- Passion for Life Sciences and transformation that improves health outcomes for patients.
Compensation
- The total cash package is up to £128,500, comprising a £105,000 base salary and personal and company bonuses paid every six months.
