Responsibilities

Requirements

Job Summary
- The Male Nurse is responsible for providing primary healthcare services, first aid treatment, emergency medical support, and health monitoring for employees residing in the labour camp.
- The role ensures the wellbeing of workers, maintains medical records, and supports occupational health and safety initiatives.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
- Valid Nursing License from home country and/or Qatar licensing authority (if required)
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS)
- First Aid & CPR
- Prometric and DataFlow clearance (preferred for Qatar)
Key Responsibilities Medical Care & First Aid
- Provide first aid and basic medical treatment for illnesses and injuries
- Assess workers' health conditions and determine the need for further medical attention
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments as directed by the physician
- Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and oxygen levels
- Respond promptly to medical emergencies within the camp
Health Monitoring
- Conduct routine health assessments and wellness checks
- Monitor workers with chronic medical conditions and ensure follow up care
- Identify and report communicable diseases or health concerns
- Support vaccination and health screening programs when required
Clinic Operations
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards within the clinic
- Ensure medical equipment is functional and properly maintained
- Monitor stock levels of medicines, first aid supplies, and medical consumables
- Coordinate replenishment of medical inventory
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain accurate medical records and treatment logs
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly clinic reports
- Record and report workplace injuries, illnesses, and medical referrals
- Ensure confidentiality of all medical information
Emergency & Referral Coordination
- Coordinate ambulance services and hospital referrals when necessary
- Accompany patients to hospitals in emergency situations if required
- Participate in emergency response drills and preparedness programs
Health Education & Awareness
- Conduct health awareness sessions on hygiene, nutrition, heat stress, and disease prevention
- Educate workers on personal health and safety practices
- Support company health and wellness initiatives
Compliance
- Ensure compliance with company policies, Ministry of Public Health regulations, and occupational health standards
- Assist management in maintaining camp health and sanitation requirements
