- Recording and maintaining journal and account entries, reconciling accounts, and investigating variances
- Preparing and maintaining financial statements, balance sheets, and reports
- Processing accounts payable and receivable, invoices, expense reports, and bank transactions
- Assisting with month end and year end financial closings, corporate reporting, and ad hoc financial analyses
- Supporting budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Responding to internal and external inquiries related to financial transactions
- Ensuring compliance with accounting principles, regulations, and internal policies
Requirements
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
- 3 5 years of experience as Junior Accountant
- Familiarity with accounting software and spreadsheet tools such as Microsoft Excel
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in bookkeeping practices
- Knowledge of accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal controls
- Bachelor's degree (Required)
- Arabic, English, or Hindi (Required)
- Good communication skills

Job Description
- A Junior Accountant is an entry level accounting professional responsible for managing daily financial tasks, supporting senior accountants, and ensuring accurate financial records.
Key Responsibilities
- Recording and maintaining journal and account entries, reconciling accounts, and investigating variances for accuracy and correction
- Preparing and maintaining financial statements, balance sheets, and reports for internal and external use
- Processing accounts payable and receivable, invoices, expense reports, and bank transactions, including deposits, check processing.
- Assisting with month end and year end financial closings, corporate reporting, and ad hoc financial analyses.
- Supporting budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to identify discrepancies and areas for improvement
- Responding to internal and external inquiries related to financial transactions and providing quality review of work completed by peers
- Ensuring compliance with accounting principles, regulations, and internal policies
Required Skills and Qualifications
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field is typically required
- Familiarity with accounting software and spreadsheet tools such as Microsoft Excel
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in bookkeeping practices
- Knowledge of accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal controls

- Education: Graduate /master's degree
- Language: English / Basic Arabic is an advantage
- Good in communication skills
