Role Overview
The Quality Supervisor oversees quality systems across raw-material receipt, production, and final-product inspection.
The role supports compliance with approved standards and continuous improvement of operational efficiency and product quality.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and continuously improve the quality management system.
- Verify raw materials and packaging materials against approved specifications and reference samples.
- Inspect received materials before they are used in production.
- Conduct pre-production inspections and verify material, equipment, and line readiness.
- Monitor quality during production and ensure compliance with approved procedures.
- Perform final product inspections before approval.
- Document inspection results and maintain quality records.
- Follow up on internal and external inspections and audits.
- Analyze nonconformities and establish corrective and preventive actions.
- Verify the effectiveness of corrective actions.
- Train employees on quality requirements and work procedures.
- Coordinate with production, warehouses, purchasing, and other departments on quality requirements.
