Responsibilities
- Support students with disabilities in their educational, social, and behavioral development under the guidance of the Special Education Teacher and multidisciplinary team.
- Assist with the implementation of individualized education programs (IEPs).
- Support classroom activities, provide one on one and small group assistance, and help adapt learning materials to meet diverse student needs.
- Assist in maintaining a safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environment.
- Support students with daily routines and functional skills.
- Monitor and document student progress and behavior.
- Collaborate effectively with teachers, therapists, and parents.
Requirements
- Diploma in Special Education or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role
- Experience working with children or individuals with disabilities
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Compassionate, patient, and dedicated to supporting diverse learning needs

Role Description
- This is a full time, on site role for a Male Assistant Teacher, located in Doha, Qatar.
- The Male Assistant Teacher will support students with disabilities in their educational, social, and behavioral development under the guidance of the Special Education Teacher and multidisciplinary team.
- Responsibilities include assisting with the implementation of individualized education programs (IEPs), supporting classroom activities, providing one on one and small group assistance, and helping adapt learning materials to meet diverse student needs.
- The Assistant Teacher will assist in maintaining a safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environment, support students with daily routines and functional skills, monitor and document student progress and behavior, and collaborate effectively with teachers, therapists, and parents.
- The role requires patience, strong communication skills, and a commitment to promoting the independence and well being of students with disabilities.
Qualifications
- Diploma in Special Education or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.
- Experience working with children or individuals with disabilities.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
