MUST BE AUTHORIZED TO WORK IN THE USA
Install, maintain and repair, as necessary, production equipment and electrical or electronic components of machinery and equipment.
Diagnose and repair production equipment
Repair of a variety of building or facility maintenance issues
Rebuild and upgrade machinery
Produce a product that meets recognized standards and customer expectations by maintaining quality procedures
Perform other job-related duties as assigned by supervisor including but not limited to, cleaning, trash/scrap removal, and other production related jobs
Maintain a positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in an effective manner with customers, co-workers, clients and supervisors
Perform daily cleaning and maintenance of the area
Work in a safe and conscientious manner
High school diploma or equivalent plus one to two years of related experience
Ability to read and write routine reports and correspondence
Prior maintenance-related experience, including electrical and pneumatic, desired, knowledge of DC controls, automotive (diesel ) also helpful
Experience in welding and metal fabricating
Able to cut with torches
Ability to interpret parts manuals
Significant experience in electrical or cranes a plus
Work Environment Work near moving mechanical parts and outside weather conditions.
Regularly exposed to fumes or airborne particles.
Occasionally exposed to risk of electrical shock.
Exposed to the risk of flash burn of eyes and exposed skin burned.
Noise level in the work environment is usually very loud.
Physical Demands The ability to stand continuously is essential, with occasional walking and sitting.
The nature of the position will require the employee to perform a wide range of physical activities ranging from pushing and pulling, lifting and carrying heavy objects (60 lbs.) to climbing, crouching, kneeling, bending and handling.
Repetitive motions are required.
Vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to focus.
