Maintenance Technician / Millwright - Afternoon or Night Shift

Our Mitchell Plastics Kitchener facility is looking for a Fully Licensed Millwright on the Afternoon or Night Shift immediately.

Consideration will be given to Registered 3rd year 433A Apprentices or higher.

The Millwright is a key player in keeping our production floor running and ensuring we are able to meet customer requirements in a fast-paced, “just-in-time” environment.

Cooperation with the Maintenance, Production and Continuous Improvement Teams is essential for this position.

Candidates must be flexible to work any/all shifts, daily/weekend overtime as required plus rotating on-call duties.

• Perform PM Duties on equipment per PM Schedule.
• Trouble shoot hydraulic problems and repair.
• Trouble shoot electrical / electronic problems and repair.
• Trouble shoot and repair mechanical problems.
• Record corrective action.
• Identify safety concerns and repair unsafe conditions.
• Record repairs on PM forms.
• Provide proper lighting to work areas.
