What will I be doing?
A Maintenance Technician I, will maintain the guestrooms, public space, and back of the house areas in good repair to ensure an attractive and well-maintained hotel. These assignments relate to a variety of trades that include but are not limited to carpentry, plumbing, electrical, air conditioning, painting, wall covering, and masonry. Schedule Details
- Our Maintenance & Engineering department operates 7 days per week. The shift will be varying between 7 am – 11 pm, 8 hours shift with 30 minutes paid breaktime, including weekends and holidays.
Additional Responsibilities Include
- Inspect guestrooms, public space and back of the house areas to repair, touch up or replace light bulbs, lamps, switches
- Outlets, faucets, toilets, hardware, filters, paint, furniture, wall coverings, caulking, grouting, or other miscellaneous repairs
- this requires the individual to possess considerable knowledge or a wide variety of maintenance trades in order to visually
- Inspect and detect items needing repair
- Basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry and mechanical experience is used frequently on the job
- Performing these duties requires experience in using basic hand and power tools and the ability to stoop, kneel, grasp, lift, push and pull weights up to 80 lbs
- The ability to climb ladders up to 30 feet high and reach in all directions, often times overhead, is required
- Detailed record keeping in English is required for logs and inspection sheets

1 year + of general maintenance experience
Ability to stand, sit, crouch, bend, stoop, reach, grasp, push/pull, and lift/carry items frequently throughout the workday
High school diploma or GED
