Maintenance Technician

Job Summary

Duties and Responsibilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair EPS machines, overhead cranes, block machines, and batching plants.
• Complete daily and weekly preventive and corrective maintenance schedules to reduce production downtime.
• Inspect factory equipment, heavy-lifting mechanisms, and electromechanical systems.
• Coordinate maintenance work with supervisors, operators, and subcontractors.
• Record completed repairs in the CMMS or daily maintenance logs.
• Maintain inventories of spare parts, tools, materials, and industrial equipment.
• Follow industrial safety requirements, heavy lifting codes, and lockout/tagout procedures.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults and perform practical repairs.
• Report equipment conditions, recurring issues, and work progress to management.
• Respond to emergency breakdowns during production shifts.

Qualifications and Skills

• Technical Diploma or Vocational Certificate in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electromechanical Technology.
• Two to five years of hands-on industrial maintenance experience is preferred.
• Experience maintaining batching plants, overhead cranes, block machines, and EPS production systems.
• Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair.
• Familiarity with basic computer applications and maintenance logging systems.
• Awareness of industrial workplace safety and heavy machinery hazards.
• Good communication skills in Arabic and English.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts and respond to emergency maintenance requirements.
