Maintenance Technician- Electrical

Maintain and repair air-operated and electric pump systems.

Understand and troubleshoot various sensors, switches, hydraulic systems, and pneumatic systems.

Read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, equipment manuals, and parts lists.

Maintain and repair power transmission systems, bearings, and related equipment.

Perform scheduled preventive and predictive maintenance on production and facility assets.

Conduct equipment calibrations and verify operational performance.

Install new equipment and implement modifications to existing machinery.

Safely use hand tools, power tools, shop equipment, and diagnostic instruments.

Collaborate effectively in a team environment while also working independently when required.

Assist in maintaining facility Food Safety standards and compliance requirements.

Adhere to all company policies, safety regulations, and operating procedures.

Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors or management.

Preferred Skills and Experience

Basic welding experience is preferred but not required.

Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).

Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer applications.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED equivalent required.

Minimum of three to five years of hands-on industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.

Experience troubleshooting industrial electrical and control systems.

Experience in the flexible packaging or blown film industries is strongly preferred.

Ability to work safely on ladders, lifts, and elevated work platforms.

Availability to respond to on-call maintenance needs and occasional weekend work.

Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and workplace safety practices.

Basic computer proficiency.
