Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections of hotel facilities
- Address maintenance requests
- Carry out repairs on equipment, fixtures, and building systems
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues
- Conduct preventive maintenance
- Ensure safety and compliance with hotel standards
- Document work performed
- Coordinate with hotel management and other departments to prioritize tasks and minimize downtime
- Update maintenance logs, plan schedules, and communicate with the team using digital tools (remote work)
Requirements
- Skills in Equipment Maintenance and Maintenance & Repair
- Troubleshooting skills to identify, diagnose, and resolve mechanical or electrical issues

- Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, or mechanical systems in hospitality or commercial buildings
- Ability to read and follow maintenance manuals, safety guidelines, and work orders
- Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with hotel staff and external vendors
- Proven ability to manage time, prioritize tasks, and work independently in a hybrid environment
- Previous experience in hotel or facilities maintenance and relevant technical certifications are an advantage

Role Description
- The Maintenance Technician role at UAE HOTEL CAREERS is a part time hybrid position based in Dubai, with some tasks that can be completed from home.
