Maintenance Technician

Meticulous with above average analytical capacity and diagnostic capabilities,

proactive, able to work independently and take initiative,

receptive, eager to acquire new professional skills,

service-minded, with good verbal communication skills,

Proficient in desktop applications (Work Order Entry and Documentation via computer)

AKWEL is a stable, indoor/year round employer in a modern, industrial plant that provides all basic tools and equipment. Willing to train and develop individual with solid basic skills and eagerness to learn about large scale rubber mixing technology, extrusion and injection equipment, industrial boilers, robotics, PLC's, vision systems and all the auxiliary equipment in between. Must be willing to support other shifts, if needed, and occasional weekends to support production or projects as necessary.
