Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Maintenance Technician role based in Dubai.
The technician performs inspections, servicing, preventive maintenance, diagnosis, repairs, and equipment support for plastic recycling and production machinery.
The role includes coordination with operations staff, supervisors, and engineers to reduce downtime and improve equipment performance.
Maintenance Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance on dryer systems, conveyor belts and motors, shredder equipment, board cutting machines, and thermal fluid heating systems.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
- Maintain temperature control systems and pumps for thermal fluid circuits.
- Inspect bearings, belts, gearboxes, and lubrication systems.
- Ensure safety interlocks and sensors function properly.
- Minimize downtime through quick diagnosis and repair.
- Maintain breakdown, preventive, and predictive maintenance records and logs.
- Coordinate scheduled maintenance activities with the supervisor.
- Ensure critical spare parts are available.
- Support equipment installations, upgrades, and commissioning.
- Follow safety standards and lockout/tagout procedures.
Compensation
- Gross salary is AED 5,000 per month.
Location and Workplace
- The job location is Dubai.
- The role is full-time and on-site.
Requirements
- Ability to perform routine servicing and preventive maintenance on industrial machinery is required.
- Ability to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues is required.
- Ability to inspect bearings, belts, gearboxes, lubrication systems, safety interlocks, and sensors is required.
- Ability to maintain breakdown, preventive, and predictive maintenance records is required.
- Ability to coordinate scheduled maintenance activities and critical spare-parts availability is required.
- Strict adherence to safety standards and lockout/tagout procedures is required.
