This role supports plant operations by performing essential mechanical and basic electrical maintenance tasks. The Maintenance Technician is responsible for troubleshooting equipment, completing preventative maintenance, and accurately documenting work using CMMS tools. This position requires strong mechanical aptitude, adherence to safe work practices, and the ability to grow technical skills under guidance from senior technicians.
Performs duties in a manner that adheres to safety policies and procedures
Maintaining a safe working environment and good housekeeping conditions
Provide support for emergency or unplanned repairs of production equipment and auxiliary systems.
Ensuring that all paperwork is completed properly and accurately
Troubleshooting electrical and mechanical processes and controls as assigned
Assembling and installing new production equipment, making mechanical repairs, and electrical repairs. (Replace motors, drives, fuses, etc.)
Completing preventative maintenance tasks
Performing roll changes as dictated by the production schedule
