About the Role
CFS Brands is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure safe and efficient operation of our brand new 500,000 square foot distribution center to include facilities, automation, docks mechanisms, and power equipment through internal preventative maintenance, repairs, and vendor managed preventative maintenance programs.
Responsibilities
- Maintain strict adherence to all CFS Brands safety protocols including, but not limited to, safety absolutes, lock out-tag out, OHSA, hot permit requirements and all fire and security protocols.
- Perform routine maintenance/repairs to building fixtures, HVAC systems, electrical systems, plumbing, and dock equipment (doors/levelers), power equipment and other items found within the distribution center.
- Conduct daily/weekly inspections of the facility, yard, automation, and dock areas to identify needed repairs/maintenance.
- Act as the liaison for third-party repairs, ensuring vendor work is completed in adherence to all CFS Brands safety standards, on-time and to required specifications.
- Diagnose and repair material handling equipment, conveyor/sortation systems, and other machinery as needed. Some understanding of control logic system and warehouse control systems (Dematic and Allen Bradley PLC is a plus).
- Use computerized maintenance management systems to record work orders and inventory.
