PRIMARY PURPOSE To perform general facilities maintenance functions and works to support all facilities maintenance groups that can include building maintenance, lift shop, and sanitation.

Complete tasks and responsibilities to support the overall needs and operations of the distribution center.

• Perform basic functions for building maintenance, lift shop, and sanitation as assigned (i.e. checking fire extinguishers, water batteries, make parts runs, etc.)
• Assist and support the Maintenance Department Mechanics and Technicians in performing work orders
• Must be able to work needed schedule to perform assigned duties
• Make recommendations for modifications to procedures or processes impacting their work group or center that will maximize efficiency, productivity, and reduce costs
• Any other duties as assigned by management
• Ensure compliance with Delhaize America standards in the areas of accuracy, safety and productivity.
