Job Description
You will play a pivotal role in our support of this state-of-the-art warehouse. You will lead your maintenance team and work closely with other teams to ensure efficient on-time preventive maintenance and swift troubleshooting when incidents arise with the material handling systems.
The ideal candidate for this position has a strong understanding of warehouse operations, is comfortable with high-tech systems and automation, is customer service oriented, has experience in leading teams, and is committed to maintaining the highest standards of safety and efficiency.
Essential Functions (Job Duties and Responsibilities)
- Promote and manage compliance with all relevant company policies and government regulations including, but not limited to: OSHA, company health and safety plans, contingency plans, and company training.
- Lead by example through results-focused, people-centered direction, feedback, and coaching
- Serve as first point of contact for all employee relations and material handling system operational issues
- Develop effective processes to maintain system performance through shift changes, high volume periods, and irregular operations in conjunction with other stakeholders
- Maintain open and transparent relationships with customer and other vendor contacts to ensure maximum material handling system performance
