Role Overview
Hands-on Maintenance Supervisor role in a glass manufacturing and industrial manufacturing environment.
The position oversees maintenance for Coater Line plant equipment in Dubai, UAE.
The role is full-time and permanent, with immediate or as-soon-as-possible joining.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and monitor preventive and corrective maintenance for Coater Line plant equipment.
- Troubleshoot electrical, electronic, mechanical, and equipment-related breakdown issues.
- Coordinate annual maintenance contracts for cranes, RO, CEDI, utilities, and other systems.
- Coordinate suppliers, service providers, and contractors for equipment repairs and modifications.
- Track downtime, perform breakdown analysis, and prepare monthly maintenance reports.
- Maintain equipment history, maintenance records, technical reports, and documentation.
- Plan required spare parts with the Procurement or Purchase Department.
- Support maintenance projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure maintenance work meets safety, health, environment, and housekeeping requirements.
Candidate Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, or a closely related engineering discipline is mandatory.
- At least 7 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment is required.
- Supervisory or lead maintenance experience is preferred.
- Strong hands-on experience in preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, and breakdown analysis is required.
- Fluency in English is mandatory.
- The candidate must be physically fit and comfortable working in a plant or shop-floor environment.
Technical Qualifications
- Knowledge of industrial electrical and electronic systems, utilities, and production equipment.
- Experience coordinating with suppliers, service providers, contractors, and procurement teams.
- Knowledge of spare-parts management, equipment history records, and maintenance documentation.
- Ability to prepare technical, maintenance, and equipment downtime reports.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Compensation
- Pay is listed as AED 1.00 to AED 15.00 per month.

- Work location is in person at the Coater Line in Dubai, UAE.
