Role Overview
Oversee daily hotel maintenance operations to keep facilities, equipment, and systems safe, functional, and comfortable for guests and employees.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily maintenance and repair activities and monitor hotel facilities, equipment, and systems.
- Ensure preventive maintenance schedules are followed and guide the maintenance team in completing assigned work.
- Troubleshoot electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and general building maintenance issues.
- Coordinate maintenance requests and urgent repairs with other departments.
- Maintain maintenance records and inventories of tools and supplies.
- Assist in emergencies and resolve technical issues promptly.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hotel standards.
Requirements
- Proven experience in hotel maintenance or a similar role.
- Previous supervisory experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general building maintenance.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle emergency situations.
- Technical certification or diploma is advantageous.
