Maintenance Supervisor (1220)

Trains maintenance department staff.Organizes and oversees the schedules and work of maintenance staff.Oversees the day-to-day operations of the maintenance department.Evaluates systems or facilities to determine maintenance or repairs that need to be performed.Ensures maintenance and repair work is completed correctly and in a timely manner.Assists with departmental budget estimates and costs of specific repairs and projects.Performs other related duties as assigned.Interpret targets and breakdown into objectives for each shift. Plan alterations with regards to process/workflow and changes to EquipmentEnsure preventative maintenance schedules are conducted.Ensure that all assets (motor, forklifts, tools, and equipment) are controlled.Monitoring outsourced work done by contractors on site and that all contractors follow the site rules with regards to PPE, GMP, HACCP and Safety.Site and Plant hygiene and housekeeping to be maintained. Compliance with HACCP/GMPEnsure Health and safety processes and procedures are complied with. Ensure a safe and neat work environmentEnsure site technical budget is controlled. Meets targets on Fixed costs (Repairs & Maintenance).Provides clear communication, guidelines, and targets to the team. Maintain discipline and compliance to general rules. Requesting disciplinary action when deemed necessary.
