The Position

Perform line maintenance on aircraft Inflight Entertainment and Connectivity systems and other aircraft equipment.

Troubleshoot systems using computer and electronic theories and test equipment.

Remove and replace components and complete administrative duties associated with maintenance actions.

IFEC and Aircraft Systems Maintenance

  • Perform component replacement, adjustments, inspections, functional tests, and applicable certification.
  • Troubleshoot failures to Line Replaceable Units, cabling, or other aircraft systems.
  • Perform cabin sweeps, Built-in Test Equipment tests, manual tests, and software and media loading.
  • Complete aircraft documentation and escalate issues to the Lead or Supervisor.
  • Communicate with customers and certify completed work under company authority and governing regulations.

Administrative Duties

  • Assist with airside inventory management, cycle counting, packaging, and shipping.
  • Maintain housekeeping, health and safety, and tool-care standards.
  • Perform other related duties assigned by supervision or management.

Qualifications

  • Secondary or Technical School degree.
  • 12 months of experience on Panasonic IFEC systems and at least 24 months of on-aircraft experience.
  • Must have worked on aircraft within the last 18 months.
  • Aircraft maintenance experience is essential.
  • A valid KSA GACA Aircraft License or equivalent is preferred for applicable certification duties.
  • Proficient Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook skills and basic Linux skills.
  • Excellent English language knowledge.
  • Ability to pass security and background checks.

Schedule and Travel

  • Ability to work a rotating roster covering 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
  • May require international and domestic travel of up to 25 percent to other line station locations.

Work Conditions

  • The work involves airport and aircraft environments, ladder or platform access, extended standing, bending, or twisting, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
  • The role may require work in extreme weather conditions, confined spaces, congestion, and varying noise levels.
