Responsibilities
- Respond to and resolve guest repair requests
- Perform preventive maintenance on tools, kitchen equipment, and machinery
- Inspect and test tools and equipment visually
- Transport equipment such as tools and radios
- Identify and operate all shut off valves and disconnect switches
- Maintain inventory and order parts and supplies as needed
- Communicate daily activities and issues to other shifts
- Perform surface preparation, painting, drywall repair, and replacement of light bulbs and filters
- Test, troubleshoot, and perform basic repairs on equipment, plumbing, and electrical components
- Program televisions and perform general engineering maintenance and inventory
- Use Lockout/Tagout system before performing maintenance
- Perform repairs on interior and exterior gardens and irrigation systems
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Experience in general maintenance, surface preparation, and painting
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks

Responsibilities
- Respond and attend to guest repair requests.
- Communicate with guests/customers to resolve maintenance issues.
- Perform preventive maintenance on tools, kitchen equipment, and machinery.
- Visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines.
- Transport equipment (e.g., tools, radio).
- Identify, locate, and operate all shut off valves for equipment and disconnect switches for buildings.
- Carry maintenance inventory and request parts and supplies as needed.
- Communicate daily activities and problems to other shift employees.
- Demonstrate basic knowledge in air conditioning and refrigeration, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, pneumatic/electronic systems and controls, carpentry and finishing, kitchen equipment, vehicles, energy conservation, and general building management.
- Perform surface preparation and painting, small drywall and woodwork repairs, replacement of light bulbs and air conditioner filters, and thorough cleaning of painting or repair area.
- Test, troubleshoot, and perform basic repairs on all types of equipment, plumbing, electrical components including lamps, cosmetic items, extension cords, vacuum cleaners, internet devices, replace switches and outlets, and other guest room items.
- Program televisions and perform general engineering maintenance and inventory.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational or technical training preferred.
- Related work experience: Experience in general maintenance, interior and exterior surface preparation and painting.
- Hotel engineering/maintenance experience valued.
- Supervisory experience: Not required.
- License or certification: Valid driver's license.
