The Maintenance Process Flow Leader directs Smelting Maintenance Supervisors and bargaining-unit employees. This role aligns maintenance activities with plant and departmental priorities for EHS, cost, the Alcoa Business System (ABS), Asset Management (REX), quality, customer satisfaction, and labor relations. The Flow Leader owns the department’s training plan, ensures employees meet safety and quality standards, and guides supervisors in completing maintenance schedules. The role also implements plans developed by the maintenance organization while upholding Alcoa’s priorities and values.

One of the following combinations of education or military and industrial manufacturing experience: Bachelor’s degree and two years of industrial manufacturing leadership experience; or Associate degree and four years of industrial manufacturing experience; or High school diploma or GED and eight years of industrial manufacturing experience.

Experience supervising teams in a manufacturing or process-industry environment.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills across all organizational levels, with the ability to train others and present effectively to groups.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, verbal, and written communication skills.
Ability to influence and communicate across the spectrum of the workforce (i.e. management to operators and maintainers).
8 years of growing responsibility in an industrial manufacturing environment
Computer literacy; MS office and related packages. MS Excel is important.
Strong focus on achieving results.
Strong work ethic to deliver safe, clean and efficient maintenance.
Self-motivated with strong problem-solving skills.
