Role Description

  • The Maintenance Planning Manager is a part time, on site role based in Dubai.
  • The person will plan, schedule, and coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance activities for facilities, equipment, and critical systems, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.
  • Responsibilities include developing maintenance plans and calendars, prioritizing work orders, preparing resource and materials requirements, and coordinating with internal teams and external vendors.
  • The role also involves maintaining accurate maintenance records, analyzing equipment performance data, optimizing maintenance procedures, and ensuring compliance with safety and organizational standards.
  • The Maintenance Planning Manager will work closely with operations and management to align maintenance activities with business needs and budget constraints.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in maintenance planning, scheduling, and coordination within facilities, industrial, or similar technical environments.
  • Strong skills in using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) or similar tools for work order management and maintenance tracking.
  • Solid understanding of preventive and predictive maintenance practices, asset management, and reliability principles.
  • Ability to analyze technical data, maintenance history, and performance reports to improve efficiency and reduce downtime.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple maintenance activities and deadlines.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills for coordinating with technicians, vendors, and cross functional teams.
  • Knowledge of workplace safety standards and regulatory requirements relevant to facilities and equipment maintenance.
  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience working in financial services, consulting, or Islamic finance environments is an advantage but not required.
  • Ability to work on site in Dubai on a part time basis and collaborate effectively in a diverse, multicultural team.
