Your Impact
As a Maintenance Planner, you'll play a key role in ensuring the reliability, efficiency and performance of our manufacturing operations. Working closely with maintenance teams, production leaders and external service providers, you'll plan and coordinate maintenance activities that keep our equipment running safely and effectively.
You'll be responsible for developing maintenance schedules, managing resources and contractors, and driving best-practice maintenance planning through SAP. This is an opportunity to make a tangible impact on operational performance while contributing to a culture of continuous improvement, safety and reliability.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage planned maintenance schedules through SAP to maximise equipment reliability and operational performance.
- Coordinate maintenance activities across production, maintenance and contractor teams to ensure work is completed safely and efficiently.
- Plan major shutdowns, equipment overhauls and site improvement projects, including resource allocation and budgeting.
- Ensure maintenance activities meet statutory requirements, safety standards and company policies.
- Maintain equipment records, histories and Bills of Materials (BOMs) within SAP.
- Monitor and report on maintenance KPIs, identifying opportunities to improve asset performance and reduce downtime.
- Support root cause analysis activities and help implement sustainable solutions to recurring equipment issues.
- Partner with operations teams to align maintenance plans with production requirements.
- Coach and support tradespeople and maintenance team members in maintenance planning best practice.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance reliability, efficiency and cost performance.
About You
You're a proactive planner who enjoys bringing structure and organisation to complex operational environments. You thrive on collaboration, have a strong attention to detail, and enjoy solving problems before they impact production.
You'll bring:
Experience in maintenance planning, reliability, asset management or a related maintenance role.
Exposure to manufacturing, FMCG, food and beverage, industrial or similar operational environments.
Knowledge of maintenance planning principles and preventative maintenance strategies.
Experience working with SAP or a Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively across operations, maintenance and external partners.
Well-developed analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
Experience supporting root cause analysis and continuous improvement activities.
Strong planning, organisation and project coordination skills.
Confidence using Microsoft Office applications and digital systems.
A trade qualification, technical background or relevant maintenance experience will be highly regarded.
