About the opportunity

Bombardier is launching a new Abu Dhabi Service Center at Al Bateen Executive Airport with advanced maintenance, repair, and overhaul capabilities.

The role supports Bombardier's Middle East aftermarket team and aircraft portfolio.

Location and relocation

  • The position is based in Abu Dhabi and requires the selected candidate to relocate and establish residence there.
  • The role is open to candidates currently based in the United Arab Emirates; relocation support is not available.

Role responsibilities

  • Update daily aircraft schedules and manpower charts to reallocate resources and meet delivery dates and demand.
  • Create SAP work packages and work orders for scheduled and drop-in aircraft maintenance tasks.
  • Support Project Manager execution, customer status reporting, and defect approvals.
  • Generate and update Pivotal work orders weekly and when aircraft return to service.
  • Forecast demand for spares, consumables, NDT inspections, hydrostatic tests, and other outsourced tasks.
  • Coordinate GSE and tooling availability with warehouse and supply chain teams.
  • Review aircraft records, engineering orders, service bulletins, and airworthiness directives and recommend actions.
  • Support warranty approvals, claims, special programs, and invoicing preparation.
  • Reconcile work packages and prepare certificates of release for completed maintenance tasks.
  • Control aircraft maintenance manual copies and revision status.
  • Undertake planning and CAMO tasks and support tire and battery shop execution.

Ideal candidate qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, aviation management, or a related discipline, or equivalent industry experience.
  • Technical aviation background is highly beneficial.
  • Experience with aircraft maintenance planning and scheduling systems is essential.
  • Working knowledge of aircraft maintenance programs and operations.
  • Logistics, resource management, and aviation production planning knowledge is advantageous.
  • Strong planning, organization, communication, and cross-functional coordination skills.
  • Proficiency with Excel, Outlook, Teams, Power BI, database, and web-based systems.
  • Knowledge of human factors, human performance, and human limitations in aviation.
  • Project management training or certification is advantageous.
