In this role you will:Lead a multidisciplinary maintenance team delivering scheduled and emergent PMI activitiesOversee day-to-day maintenance operations to ensure safety, compliance, and efficiencySupport technicians and engineers through coaching, mentoring, and clear directionWork closely with production planning, engineering, and supply chain teams to meet schedule and resource requirementsDrive first-time quality, continuous improvement, and process standardisationBuild strong working relationships with customer stakeholders and internal teamsHelp create a positive, accountable, and high-performing team cultureAbout You: Experience in aircraft maintenance management, production leadership, or team supervisionBackground in Defence, aviation, or civil MRO environmentsUnderstanding of regulatory and quality frameworks such as DASR Part 145, AS9110, CASA, or equivalentStrong people leadership skills with the ability to manage performance and prioritiesExcellent communication and stakeholder engagement skillsA practical, proactive approach to safety, quality, and continuous improvementFamiliarity with the maintenance schedule of the Super Hornet/Growler platform would be highly regardedThe ability to obtain and maintain an Australian Defence Security Clearance (NV1) Security Clearance You will be required to successfully undergo the vetting process for a government security clearance (Negative Vetting 1) sponsored by BDA. Therefore, you must be willing to disclose all relevant and required information and must have the ability to verify your background for whole of life i.e. birth to present time.
