Role Overview
The Mechanical and Electrical Maintenance Head cum Supervisor leads the engineering and maintenance function and reports to the managing director.
Maintenance Management
- Lead and oversee mechanical and electrical maintenance teams.
- Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance schedules for machines, utilities, and equipment.
- Monitor equipment performance, minimize downtime, and manage breakdown maintenance with root cause analysis.
Equipment and Utilities
- Maintain production machinery, MIG welding and shearing machines, compressors, generators, and electrical panels.
- Ensure calibration of measuring instruments and electrical safety systems.
- Manage energy consumption and propose energy-saving initiatives.
Compliance and Safety
- Ensure compliance with electrical safety, ISO, OSHA, and Factory Act requirements.
- Enforce safety standards for maintenance activities.
- Maintain records for audits, inspections, and certifications.
