Job Overview

  • The Maintenance Manager will provide leadership and direction to the plant Maintenance and Project Management departments.

Responsibilities

  • Execute plant specific vision and mission to ensure consistent operations and continuous improvement.
  • Provide leadership in developing, implementing, and maintaining Progressive Maintenance programs.
  • Monitor DH tracker for timely completion of corrective actions and BDAs.
  • Lead projects involving redesign and installation of new processing and packaging assets.
  • Assess current Progressive Maintenance Systems and create improvement plans.
  • Train and coach on Lean Continuous Improvement process and tools.
  • Analyze equipment and line downtime data to define opportunities.
  • Define skill requirements and develop training plans.
  • Manage buildings and grounds to adhere to GMP.
  • Direct the Maintenance and Engineering Team.
  • Provide technical support for troubleshooting and maintenance repair.
  • Collaborate with finance to create and execute maintenance and capital budget.

Qualifications/Education/Experience/Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Management, Manufacturing or Operations Management or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 7 years’ maintenance experience as a manager or supervisor in a manufacturing environment required.
  • Demonstrated understanding and experience working in a lean, system driven manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with utilizing and optimizing a CMMS (SAP experience preferred).
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems, PLC’s, utilities, and boilers.
  • Ability to interpret technical information and regulatory compliance guidelines.
  • Working knowledge of AutoCad or similar application preferred.
  • Demonstrable key leadership competencies required.
  • Working knowledge of food safety and food quality standards and regulations preferred.
  • Experience in Continuous Improvement Programs a plus.

Salary

  • $93k $138k annually with additional bonus potential

Schedule

  • Primary work schedule is 1st shift, Monday Friday, with understanding the facility is a 24/7 mfg operations
