Winland Foods seeks a Maintenance Manager to lead plant maintenance and project management in Grand Forks, ND. The role oversees asset reliability, progressive maintenance systems, and CapEx projects.

Responsibilities
- Provide leadership to the Maintenance team in planning and performing repair, maintenance, and installation of equipment
- Manage the Maintenance, Repair, and Operations (MRO) budget
- Own the Progressive Maintenance system including MP&S, Preventive, Predictive, and Precision Maintenance Programs
- Lead CapEx Project Management with oversight of contractor management, timeline adherence, cost controls, and commissioning
- Analyze equipment downtime data and lead cross functional teams to identify root cause and corrective actions
- Define skill requirements and develop training plans for maintenance team
- Ensure compliance with safety, food safety, and regulatory standards
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Management, Manufacturing or Operations Management or equivalent experience
- Minimum 7 years of maintenance experience as a manager or supervisor in a manufacturing environment
- Demonstrable Project Management experience
- Experience with CMMS (SAP preferred)
- Strong mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of electrical/mechanical systems, PLCs, utilities, and boilers
- Working knowledge of AutoCad or similar application preferred
- Experience in Continuous Improvement Programs a plus

Job Overview
- The Maintenance Manager will provide leadership and direction to the plant Maintenance and Project Management departments.
Responsibilities
- Execute plant specific vision and mission to ensure consistent operations and continuous improvement.
- Provide leadership in developing, implementing, and maintaining Progressive Maintenance programs.
- Monitor DH tracker for timely completion of corrective actions and BDAs.
- Lead projects involving redesign and installation of new processing and packaging assets.
- Assess current Progressive Maintenance Systems and create improvement plans.
- Train and coach on Lean Continuous Improvement process and tools.
- Analyze equipment and line downtime data to define opportunities.
- Define skill requirements and develop training plans.
- Manage buildings and grounds to adhere to GMP.
- Direct the Maintenance and Engineering Team.
- Provide technical support for troubleshooting and maintenance repair.
- Collaborate with finance to create and execute maintenance and capital budget.
Qualifications/Education/Experience/Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Management, Manufacturing or Operations Management or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 7 years’ maintenance experience as a manager or supervisor in a manufacturing environment required.
- Demonstrated understanding and experience working in a lean, system driven manufacturing environment.
- Experience with utilizing and optimizing a CMMS (SAP experience preferred).
- Strong mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems, PLC’s, utilities, and boilers.
- Ability to interpret technical information and regulatory compliance guidelines.
- Working knowledge of AutoCad or similar application preferred.
- Demonstrable key leadership competencies required.
- Working knowledge of food safety and food quality standards and regulations preferred.
- Experience in Continuous Improvement Programs a plus.

- $93k $138k annually with additional bonus potential
Schedule
- Primary work schedule is 1st shift, Monday Friday, with understanding the facility is a 24/7 mfg operations
