Role Description

  • This is a full time, on site role located in Dubai Airport for a Maintenance Manager.
  • The Maintenance Manager will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating maintenance and repair activities, managing preventive maintenance programs, ensuring equipment is well maintained, and supervising maintenance staff.
  • Daily tasks include inspecting facilities, scheduling repairs, and keeping accurate maintenance records.

Facility & Equipment

  • Oversee repair and maintenance of all physical, kitchen, and structural systems (plumbing, HVAC, electrical).
  • Implement preventive schedules and ensure safety, hygiene, and compliance standards.
  • Conduct inspections, approve repair requests, and coordinate with outlets to minimize disruption.

Budget & Inventory

  • Manage maintenance budgets, estimates, and expenses.
  • Oversee spare parts inventory and ensure timely availability.

Vendor Management

  • Source, contract, and coordinate with external service providers.
  • Maintain vendor database and evaluate in house vs. outsourced repairs.

Safety & Compliance

  • Ensure adherence to fire, health, energy, and airport regulations.
  • Drive sustainability initiatives and emergency/contingency planning.

Records & Reporting

  • Maintain digital records, service histories, and expenses.
  • Prepare maintenance logs and dashboards for management.

Team Leadership

  • Supervise, train, and develop maintenance staff.
  • Promote safety awareness and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • Supervisory Skills
  • Equipment Maintenance and Maintenance & Repair skills
  • Preventive Maintenance and Maintenance Management skills
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Relevant certifications or degrees in maintenance management or related fields are a plus
  • Experience in a similar role within the F&B (kitchen), retail or travel retail industry is advantageous
