The Maintenance Manager is responsible for leading all maintenance activities across the manufacturing facility to ensure the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of production equipment, utilities, facilities, and infrastructure.
The role is critical in maximizing equipment uptime, reducing unplanned downtime, improving Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
Maintenance Leadership
- Lead, coach, and develop the maintenance team to achieve operational and business objectives.
- Establish clear performance goals and development plans for maintenance personnel.
- Foster a culture of safety, accountability, continuous improvement, and technical excellence.
- Manage maintenance staffing, training, succession planning, and workforce capability development.
Asset Reliability & Equipment Performance
- Develop and implement preventative, predictive, and condition-based maintenance programs.
- Drive continuous improvement in equipment reliability and machine availability.
- Monitor and improve key performance metrics including: Equipment uptime OEE Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF) Mean Time to Repair (MTTR) Planned vs. reactive maintenance ratio
