Job Summary

Manage the maintenance team, AMC/PPM contracts, warranty claims, manufacturer and supplier coordination, spare-parts requirements, service documentation, manpower deployment, and departmental performance.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Manage the Service and Maintenance Department, including daily operations, manpower deployment, technician scheduling, and service performance.
- Oversee preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance for commercial kitchen and refrigeration equipment.
- Manage AMC/PPM contracts and ensure scheduled visits and contractual service requirements are completed on time.
- Supervise commercial kitchen, laundry, refrigeration, cold-room, freezer-room, electrical, gas, and mechanical equipment maintenance and repair.
- Provide technical guidance for complex faults, conduct root-cause analysis, and minimize recurring breakdowns and repeat service calls.
- Oversee testing and commissioning of newly installed equipment and ensure defects are rectified before final handover.
- Manage and evaluate maintenance supervisors, technicians, electricians, and refrigeration technicians.
- Review and verify spare-parts requirements before procurement to ensure correct specifications and control costs.
- Maintain service reports, maintenance records, equipment histories, warranty records, and AMC/PPM documentation.
- Manage warranty and after-sales service and coordinate with manufacturers and suppliers for technical support and claims.
- Handle escalated customer complaints and technical concerns and maintain client relationships.
- Ensure HSE, manufacturer, company, and UAE regulatory compliance while monitoring maintenance KPIs and cross-functional coordination.
Equipment Scope
- The role covers cooking equipment, dishwashers, food-preparation equipment, refrigeration units, cold rooms, freezer rooms, commercial washing machines, dryers, ironing and finishing equipment, and related electrical, gas, and mechanical systems.
Training
- Participate in technical, product, equipment, and software training programs within the UAE and overseas when required by the company, manufacturers, suppliers, or principals.
- Apply acquired technical knowledge and share it with the Service and Maintenance team.
Requirements
- Experience managing service and maintenance operations for commercial kitchen, refrigeration, or related equipment.
- Ability to manage technicians, electricians, refrigeration technicians, scheduling, manpower deployment, and service performance.
- Technical capability in complex equipment troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, repairs, testing, and commissioning.
- Ability to manage AMC/PPM contracts, warranty claims, service documentation, and equipment histories.
- Ability to ensure compliance with HSE requirements, manufacturer recommendations, company procedures, and applicable UAE regulations.
- Ability to monitor maintenance KPIs including response time, repair time, first-time fix rate, PPM completion, productivity, customer satisfaction, and costs.
