Role Overview
ABISCO is seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance operations at its food-manufacturing facility in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
The manufacturing operation includes biscuit, pasta, dry-mix, and noodle production, along with boilers, air compressors, chillers, HVAC, electrical systems, steam, and water utilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead mechanical, electrical, automation, and utility-maintenance teams.
- Maximize equipment availability and minimize production downtime.
- Develop preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs.
- Conduct root-cause analysis and implement permanent solutions for recurring breakdowns.
- Manage critical spare parts, maintenance budgets, and technical contractors.
- Plan and supervise shutdowns, overhauls, installations, and commissioning activities.
- Maintain equipment records, maintenance history, and work orders through ERP or CMMS systems such as Odoo.
- Ensure compliance with food-safety, GMP, HACCP, and occupational-safety requirements.
- Monitor downtime, MTBF, MTTR, and preventive-maintenance compliance KPIs.
- Support continuous improvement to enhance plant reliability and control maintenance costs.
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or Industrial Engineering.
- At least 10 years of maintenance experience, including managerial or supervisory responsibility.
- Mandatory experience in food manufacturing or FMCG.
- Strong hands-on knowledge of production machinery, PLCs, automation, boilers, compressors, chillers, and factory utilities.
- Proven experience reducing downtime, improving equipment reliability, and controlling maintenance costs.
- Experience with biscuit, pasta, noodles, bakery, or dry-mix production equipment is advantageous.
- Strong leadership, planning, problem-solving, and team-management skills.
- Fluent English communication skills are required.
