We are looking for a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our Engineering team in a fast-paced FMCG manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, calibrating, and improving instrumentation, electrical, and mechanical equipment to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable plant operation.
The ideal candidate will have a strong instrumentation background combined with electrical multi-skilling , with experience working on process instrumentation, control systems, electrical equipment, and plant assets. You will be responsible for diagnosing faults, testing, repairing, calibrating, and maintaining instrumentation and electrical systems, while supporting the maintenance of mechanical equipment across the site.
Working as part of a continental shift team, you will play a key role in delivering planned and preventative maintenance, responding to equipment breakdowns, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives. You will work closely with production and engineering teams to maximise equipment performance, minimise downtime, and support operational excellence.
This position operates on a continental shift pattern with a staggered 2-day / 3-day rotation , providing 24/7 engineering support to the manufacturing operation.
The successful candidate will bring strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills, a proactive approach to maintenance, and a commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement. Experience in a manufacturing environment, particularly within FMCG or food production, together with the ability to work effectively in a dynamic production setting, will be essential for success in this role.
