About the Role
Marriott International is hiring a Maintenance Technician at The Ritz-Carlton in Doha to perform repairs, preventive maintenance, and general upkeep. Responsibilities include responding to guest repair requests, maintaining tools and equipment, and performing tasks in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and painting.

- Respond and attend to guest repair requests
- Communicate with guests to resolve maintenance issues
- Perform preventive maintenance on tools and kitchen/mechanical room equipment
- Visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines
- Transport equipment (e.g., tools, radio)
- Identify, locate, and operate all shut off valves for equipment and utility shut offs for buildings
- Maintain maintenance inventory and order parts and supplies as needed
- Perform surface preparation, painting, minor drywall and woodwork repair, light bulb and A/C filter replacement
- Test, troubleshoot, and perform basic repair on all types of equipment, plumbing, electrical components, and guest room items
- Program televisions and perform general maintenance and inventory tasks related to engineering
- Use Lockout/Tagout system before performing maintenance work
- Perform repairs on interior and exterior landscaping and exterior irrigation systems
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Experience in general maintenance, surface preparation, and painting
- Valid Driver's License
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

Position Summary

- Visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines.
- Transport equipment (e.g., tools, radio).
- Identify, locate, and operate all shut off valves for equipment and utility shut offs for buildings.
- Maintain maintenance inventory and order parts and supplies as needed.
- Perform surface preparation, painting, minor drywall and woodwork repair, light bulb and A/C filter replacement, and complete cleaning of painting/repair areas.
- Test, troubleshoot, and perform basic repair on all types of equipment, plumbing, electrical components, and guest room items.
- Program televisions and perform general maintenance and inventory tasks related to engineering.
- Use Lockout/Tagout system before performing maintenance work.
- Perform repairs on interior and exterior landscaping and exterior irrigation systems.
Preferred Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Related Work Experience: Experience in general maintenance, surface preparation, and painting.
- Hotel engineering/maintenance experience is a plus.
- Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience required.
Required Qualifications
- License or Certification: Valid Driver's License
