Maintenance Associate (Live-In)

Compensation

• The expected annualized base salary range for this position is $35,000 - $45,000. The actual salary offered will take into consideration a wide array of factors including, but not limited to, the individual’s skill, experience, and relevant education or training.
• Base salary is only one component of Hazelview’s competitive total rewards package. For live-in positions, a unit will also be provided as part of the package. Qualifications

• 4+ years of maintenance or related experience is preferred. Note: This is not an entry-level role.
• Flexibility to work on-call on a rotating schedule (evenings & weekends) is required
• Proficient with use of basic handheld and electrical tools
• Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, drywall, carpentry, painting, etc.
• Exposure to the multi-residential or other related industry would be an asset
• Completion of High School or general education degree (GED), 5 th Class Power Engineering is an asset
• Certification/license from one of the trade professions would be a definite asset
• Must be familiar with the community rules and regulations
• WHMIS certified and knowledge of mechanical and HVAC systems, would be an asset
• A professional demeanor with strong communication skills
• Ability to speak other languages is considered an asset.
