Maintenance Assistant, Commercial

• Education: High School Diploma or the equivalent
• Experience: Previous construction and/or maintenance experience an asset
• Valid Driver’s License Must be able to provide a clean driver’s abstract May be required to drive between sites when necessary

• Must be punctual and reliable
• Able to work independently
• Must be able to lift and move heavy equipment to and from a vehicle

The Maintenance Assistant, Commercial is required to frequently walk, stand, and climb stairs/ladders and in/around commercial sites.

Must maintain professional appearance and be able to work in a construction environment in all weather conditions (rain, snow, heat, hail, wind, sleet), dust, dirt, and other particulates.

Must also have the ability to operate an automobile, read large quantities of information, operate computer equipment, speak, hear, bend, stoop, reach, lift, move and carry up to 50 lbs. independently.

Finger dexterity is necessary.

This full-time salaried position generally works eight-hour days, Monday through Friday, 7:00 am - 3:30 pm.

This position is required to work overtime on weekends on occasion, and to respond to emergency situations including snow removal, ice control and other emergency operations after-hours.
